Where Did The Name Come From?Some time way back in 2003, when I was still in high school (which is what it is now) I was talking with a great friend of mine about how poor the state of Advertising in Ghana was. There were more than enough radio, t.v and out-door advertisements that we sincerely thought insulted the intelligence of its audience. Back then it was a lot easier to dream and be optimistic about stuff, being totally oblivious of possible obstacles or hurdles that there were. There was no communication in those ad campaigns because they were very incoherent and inconsistent, and we thought –even back then- that we could do a better job (we were both on the schools’ editorial board)….we were quite enthusiastic, I thought we could call the company…gold-in words Inc.But this site isnt so much about effectve ad campaigns and the like as it is about beautiful communication.

This site combines several passions on one page. I call each word golden because it must be that to be worth your time, I started writing poems in Junior High because I wanted a different way to store my thoughts and memories than just entering it in a diary because the one time my diary fell in the wrong hands…for the next couple of days I felt very ‘naked’; the girls I’d secretly liked, the true hostile thoughts some ‘friends’ had against each other….everything became public. i made a small living off it when I was in Presec cos I had a clientele I sold some off to so they could beef up the letters they were sending their sweethearts. Most are sweet, but all are witty and humorous.
Why I started this blog - My Reality check;
To provide witty, humorous and creatively inspiring writing to a vast range of people, whilst developing my skills as a writer. Thus, contributing to a better humanity by improving the individual lives of each reader by virtue of the high-quality refreshing content in what they read. To serve as a conduit for me to share interesting knowledge, useful information and beneficial tips I might have gained from elsewhere. To use it as a launch pad and marketing tool for future big-scale writing projects. To create an interactive platform that will ultimately bring out the best in each of us, because each time someone signs up, our mastermind of creative intellectuals increases by 1…we become our own stepping stones. To help me develop a greater deal of research and management ability and to continuously challenge my creativity and self discipline. Ultimately, to glorify God for endowing me with the beautiful gifts He has.

To become more popular, and show that yes! I’ve made it. To chase and make money. To impress people. To spite others.
